Now i wanna share my journey to Semeru mountain, the mount located in east Java, Indonesia. Semeru is the highest mountain in Java, about 3676 m above the sea level. The stratovolcano is also known as Mahameru, meaning the great mountain. The name derived from the Hindu-Buddhist mythical mountain of Meru or Sumeru, the abode of gods.
Semeru is regularly climbed by tourist, usually starting from the village of ranu Pane to the north. i spent 4 days 3 night to finish my journey to Mahameru.
i stay one night at Ranu Kumbolo and two nights at Kalimati, last place we can stay and get water before summit attack.
i have a lot of things to do, many assignment for tomorrow haha
